The forum underscored the interconnectedness of global urbanization and the need for regional collaboration to tackle contemporary challenges. The LAS Smart City Ranking highlighted the advancements and strategies of Arab cities in utilizing technology for sustainable development, aligning with the forum's objective of promoting knowledge exchange and cooperation in creating smarter urban environments.

Building Smart City in a Changing World & Release of 2024 League of Arab States (LAS) Smart City Ranking seminar was a great step towards continuing China's relationship with the Global South! Specially, I would like to thank China for the way you are achieving the SDGs. The world has a lot to learn from you, and as a country, you need to help other countries achieve their national SDG targets. I believe smart cities are connected to many of the SDGs, and China is a leader in this field when compared to others today.

The initiative is on the frontline of addressing topical issues such as climate change, air pollution, energy consumption and inequality. Smart city emphasise on building sustainable institutions, commercialized road and rail transport infrastructure, foster e-government infrastructire and services, morden governance. China is also steadfast in implementing the Smart City framework through intergating advanved technologies to enhance efficiwncy in service delivery, disaster prepardness, modernising governance, streamliming Smart traffic management and efficiency in renewable energy.

The forum was great, discussion, panelist and topic were well organized. We got privileged to be in that high-end forum, full of think tanks and officials from Tsinghua University, Peking University and Zhejiang International Studies University. I learned, enriched my knowledge and broaden my understanding a lot from the topics and discussions. We also get connected and exchange contact with friends and students from different places. I extend my gratitude thanks to Tsinghua SPPM for organizing and secure our attendance while looking forward for the future conferences, forum, and seminars.
